Results of the IGAPE partner:

• Access to the tool developed in the framework of activity 2.2 as support for the globalization of the supply chains of the industrial companies of the Euroregion, analyzing which are the key external points for the business sector, both in origin and destination of goods: https://informebi.es/cadenas-de-valor-eurorregion/

Results from the partner Dirección Xeral de Mobilidade Xunta de Galicia::

• Elaboration of a global Viability Study, for the improvement of the set of connection infrastructures of the Euroregion Galicia - North of Portugal in all the modes of transport (terrestrial, including the one carried out by road and the one carried out by rail, sea and air) as well as the intermodality between them. To this end, the following aspects will be analysed in a complete and detailed manner:

• The current situation of transport infrastructure (both passenger and freight) connecting Euroregion Galicia - North Portugal in all modes of transport, as well as intermodality between them:

  • Land (road and rail), analysing the inter-border connections around the main logistics platforms, industrial and business parks and other centres of transport demand generation near the border.

  • Maritime, analysing the logistical capacities, synergies, coordination of services and interconnections between the ports in the Euroregion and, in particular, those closest to the border between the two countries.

  • Air, analysing the logistical capacities, synergies, coordination of services and interconnections between the airports in the Euroregion.

  The current situation and the evolution trend of the current flows of both travellers and goods between Galicia and the North of Portugal.

  The conditioning factors of all kinds (geographical, environmental, socio-economic, technical, etc.) that influence their configuration and the possibilities for improvement, both for the infrastructure as a whole and for each of them independently.

  The different options for the improvement of the transport infrastructures that connect Euroregion Galicia - North Portugal in all modes of transport, as well as those that allow intermodality between them, studying both the options for capacity expansion or technical improvement of existing infrastructures and those for the creation of new infrastructures..

  The prognosis of the future evolution of the flows of travellers and goods between Galicia and the North of Portugal according to each of the possible scenarios.

  The assessment and comparison of the options studied and, as a result, the selection and programming of the recommended actions.

• Definition, at an Informative Study level, of the actions derived from the previous Feasibility Study and, in particular, at least, the connection with Portugal of the Plataforma Logística Industrial de Salvaterra - As Neves (PLISAN).

• Elaboration of a viability study for the implantation of a parking lot for dangerous goods vehicles in the Euroregion Galicia - North of Portugal, in which the following aspects are analyzed in a complete and detailed way:

• The current situation regarding parking lots for dangerous goods vehicles in the Euroregion Galicia - North of Portugal

  • The current situation and the evolution trend of current goods flows between Galicia and Northern Portugal.

  • The conditioning factors of all kinds (geographical, environmental, socio-economic, technical, etc.) that influence the implementation of a network of car parks for hazardous goods vehicles, both for the network as a whole and for each of the actions independently.

  • The different options for the implementation of a network of car parks for dangerous goods vehicles in the Galicia - North of Portugal Euroregion, studying both the options for increasing the capacity or technical improvement of existing infrastructures and those for creating new infrastructures.

  • The prognosis for the future evolution of goods flows between Galicia and Northern Portugal.

  • The assessment and comparison of the options studied and, as a result, the selection and programming of the recommended actions.
